Training Update

Future Care Solutions provide regular talks and training sessions for their staff to ensure continued high standards of service for our clients and your patients. On Monday 3rd September Charmaine Cayzer, Micaela Peters and Ellie Clifton attended the Cambridgeshire County Council’s Pills and Potions day course.

On Friday 7th September Jo Welham, Felicity Carew and Pam Hay attended Addenbrookes hospital for a training session on using the Nippi mask.

On 4th and 5th October we have 4 new carers taking their Induction Training.

Every second Wednesday of the month Edye Hoffman from Dementia Compass presents a talk to Future Care Solutions staff around dementia and the issues surrounding the condition.

Starshine Stroll

Starshine Stroll ImageOn 19th May 2012 several members of the FCS staff took part in the Starshine stroll to raise vital funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice, this is a 10 mile walk starting at Shelford Rugby Club, through Cambridge and ending back at the Rugby Club. Lots of fun was had by all and a massive £1400.00 was raised for the charity.

MS Cake Break – Wednesday 2 May

MS cake bake image 2Future Care Solutions joined in with a national cake break to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. The staff made some delicious cakes and everyone enjoyed eating them! We raised a fantastic £44.55 for the charity!!

Donation to Arthur Rank Hospice

Future Care Solutions recently received a donation from a client’s wife in memory of her late husband one of our End of Life care clients.

In lieu of flowers at the funeral donations were requested to be sent to Future Care Solutions who donated the £270.05 to Arthur Rank Hospice.
